eHerkenning and inspection and withdrawal of (Continuous) Authorizations by Tax Means
Recently, eHerkenning (EH3) has given you the possibility to gain access to the (standing) authorizations your organization has given to its accountant, tax advisor and payroll administrator. With those authorization(s), the intermediary can communicate on behalf of the client with Digipoort, the electronic mailbox of the Belastingdienst.

It is also possible to mutate: you can revoke the authorization you provided to your
intermediary(s) digitally with your EH3.
In this article we discuss standing authorizations, from what they are to how you can apply for and manage them.

What is a standing authorization?
A standing authorization is a registration by which the customer authorizes an intermediary to send and receive digital messages on a specific tax resource for multiple tax years. In other words, it allows the intermediary to be authorized to act on behalf of the client for specific tax matters, such as receiving service notices or viewing pre-filed returns.

How does the intermediary apply for a standing order?
Applying for a standing order is simple. The intermediary can do this via its software.

Customers may view the authorizations. Revoking, if desired, the authorization can be done by the customer by at at logging in with eHerkenning (EH3) at Logius via Digipoort authorization register.
