As of November 1, it is not yet possible for sole proprietors to issue to an intermediary a Chain authorization for the purpose of logging into the UWV .
In consultation with the UWV, the approved suppliers eHerkenning offer the following solutions.

Any applications from sole proprietorships that are still being or have been submitted to a vendor will be withheld. It is expected that late this year/early next year the functionality for Chain authorizations for sole proprietorships will be available. From then on, priority will be given to processing applications for Chain authorizations that have been received previously. Intermediaries will then be able to note in the Chain authorizations Management module that the Chain authorization has become active.

As long as the Chain authorization of the sole proprietorship has not yet been applied for or is not active, intermediaries can use the UWV's alternative "paper route" on behalf of their client:

Suppliers will notify their customers, the intermediaries, when it is possible to apply for Chain authorizations on sole proprietorships in Chain authorization-Management module .
