Phasing out assurance level EH1
Do you use eHerkenning assurance level EH1 to log in to 1 or more services on behalf of your organization or company?
As of July 1, 2021, you can no longer use your assurance level EH1.
The government has made the decision to discontinue EH1 as of July 1, 2021. assurance level EH1 no longer meets the desired security requirements set by the government as a prerequisite for logging into various government services. As of July 1, you will no longer be able to use the lowest assurance level EH1.

What to do.
To continue using these online services, it is important that you upgrade your eRecognition tool to a higher assurance level with the appropriate authorization(s) on time so that you may continue to transact on behalf of your company. This level depends on the online services where you want to log in with eHerkenning.
Tip:
Are you logging in with eHerkenning to purchase multiple services? Then choose the highest assurance level requested. The service provider will provide the new assurance level with the corresponding service.
What should you consider?
Upgrade your current eHerkenning EH1 login tool on time so you can continue to get your online services. Please also keep in mind the processing of your upgrade request. Since this is a higher assurance level including authorization(s), additional documentation and identification is required for your request.
Our team will support you with upgrading your login tool and the necessary authorization(s). This upgrade will allow you to securely and reliably log in to one or more services. There will be a charge for the upgrade. At Reconi, you will receive a 5% upgrade discount on the new price of the respective level.
